We’ve added four important updates to the Product Gallery widget in Duda eCommerce that will help your clients showcase and sell more of their products. Check these out:

Speed up the time from browsing to purchasing

We've added an option to show or hide a button on displayed products, and you can choose what it does when clicked: it can either instantly add that product to the cart or take the visitor to that product page in the store.

This button’s visibility will be turned off by default for Product Galleries that already exist on published sites, so you and your client can decide what’s best for their site before showing the button in the gallery.

What about products with options?

In this case, the button will show the text See Options and will redirect to the respective product page so visitors can choose the option they want for that product before adding it to their cart.

Show main product categories in the gallery & more display options

In terms of what you want the Product Gallery to display, you now have more customization flexibility and control with this updated options list:

• All Products
• All Categories & Subcategories
• Main Categories Only
• [Specific category based on your catalog]

Enjoy a lot more sorting customization power

You now have more ways to choose the order of products that show in your Product Gallery. Enjoy this improved list of display sorting options based on what your eComm client needs or wants: 

• Product Catalog Order (the order you've set in Store Operations > Product Catalog)
• Price: Low to High
• Price: High to Low
• Newest First
• Oldest First
• Recently Modified
  

Show important pricing info in the gallery

For stores that have the tax included in the product price or the lowest price history enabled, you’ll have the option to show these details in the Product Gallery as well - they'll be set to show in the gallery by default if the store has these pricing settings.

Where to find these in the Product Gallery?

To show the tax included in price, open the Gallery's Content tab and check the Tax indication checkbox under Displayed Attributes. To tweak its design, open the Gallery's Design tab, expand the Text drawer and select the Text tab > Additional Price Info. The design settings will apply to both the tax included in price and the lowest price history indication if you’ve set them to show in the store.
