You can now translate all the pages of your clients’ Duda eCommerce sites (aka native store), including the entire catalog and all store areas, making online stores available in multiple languages. In addition, you can now add a store to an existing site that already includes additional languages (scroll down to learn more about this).

Multilingual store pages offer an enhanced shopping experience that can help boost conversions and increase sales. It also helps to extend accessibility to global audiences, especially in regions like Canada and the EU where multilingual content is often legally required.

Add languages & translate the store in minutes

This new multilingual option in the store offers a quick automated translation using Google Translate, reducing the time, effort (and headache) often involved in making a site multilingual. Here, with the click of a button, you can instantly translate all products, categories, subcategories, product options, and other store pages with a single click.

Prefer to enter translations manually? No problem. Simply enter your translated text into the relevant field under your new Store Languages tab and it will be saved.

Easy to get started, simple to manage

First, add the languages you want

This can be done through the editor’s  SEO & Settings tab > Site Languages. Add the ones you want, and then open your store management tab. There, you’ll see a newly added Store Languages tab. Click that to manage, edit and manually enter translations for your store.

Next, manage translations of all other store areas

To make it simple to jump between the translations of all store sections and areas, you’ll find a quick dropdown menu on your Store Languages page, where you can navigate between products, categories, and options.

Simply select the store catalog or section you want, and either click the
Translate with Google button to instantly have all fields for those products, categories, or options translated into the respective language you’re on, or manually enter your own to specific fields—you’re always in control.

An extra perk of this feature? Adding, removing, or updating translations of active catalog products immediately updates them in your live site without the need to republish.

Want to see what your translated store pages look like?  Use the Open in Editor shortcut button to do that (see it in the video below). In addition, if you made any edits to a product in your site’s default language, you can easily update the translations using the Translate with Google action to update or override the existing one.

Easily add a store to a multilingual site

As mentioned above, you can now add a store to an existing multilingual site. To make it super easy for you to incorporate your store into it, once you add the store we'll automatically create store pages in all your existing site languages. In addition, all your catalog listings will automatically get translated and be available in your Store Languages tab in your store operations view.

A complete localized experience from A to Z

What about your store’s cart, checkout, and customer emails? With this new store languages update, these store areas will display the language the customer selected when they visited the store at the time of purchase. This means a customized shopping experience from browsing to order confirmation.

As a kind reminder, you should know that having the store available in multiple languages does not mean having an online store with
multiple currencies. That's a separate feature we plan to add to the store in the future.
