We’ve added several new features to Duda eCommerce, to help you build stores better with enhanced management and customization. These will improve the way you tailor eComm sites to each of your client’s needs. Plus, a special update to simplify moving your third-party store into the Duda eCommerce one.
Setting up a store pickup location has been available in the Duda store for a while now, but now we’ve added the option to add multiple locations. This will make it easier for clients to set up all the pickup points they need. Some examples of these include
businesses like a bakery with two or more branch stores, or one that has both a physical store and a warehouse, with the intention of offering pickup from both locations.
Easily add as many email addresses associated with your merchant client as you need, so your client and anyone on their behalf can receive store customer email copies, and instantly know whenever a new order comes in, among other updates. The option to add additional email recipients is available in a new section in your store overview called
Store Emails >
Notification Settings.
We know you’ve been waiting for this one. Under your store
Settings tab >
Checkout, we’ve added two new sections for customizing your checkout,
marketing and
store policies. The former lets you add a promotional opt-in checkbox, and the latter, a Terms and Conditions or other legal policy checkbox.
When selecting to add either of these, you’ll be able to customize the text that appears next to the checkbox to suit your client’s needs. The opt-in checkbox is optional at checkout and will be unchecked by default, meaning customers can complete their order without opting in. However, the Terms & Conditions checkbox, once enabled, will be a mandatory step in the checkout process.
Please keep in mind that your merchant will be legally responsible for creating and maintaining a Terms and Conditions or any other store policy page associated with this checkbox, and for drafting the legal disclaimer it includes, while Duda only makes this option available.
You can now print out packing slips much faster and right from a specific order’s details screen. This lets your clients have a clean and professional-looking template that includes all necessary information for accurate and efficient order fulfillment, packaging, and record-keeping.
The packing slip generated on demand is a formatted, printable view of the order containing the following details:
The option to import third-party store products into your Duda store via a CSV file now supports importing product options and variants as well. This supports options set up as radio buttons and a drop-down list. Once these are imported, we’ll automatically create the relevant product variants for you in the catalog, along with the relevant price.
This little improvement will allow you to work faster while setting up or managing your client’s catalog. When on a product page in the editor, you’ll now have a quick link in the top bar that takes you to that product’s settings page in the catalog. This is a big time saver and will help to streamline your eComm workflow.
Those were our recent updates to Duda eCommerce that will help you better build and manage online stores for your clients. And we've got more updates coming up, so stay tuned.
